My loaner phone smells like smoke. I have tried tons of different things to try and get rid of the smell. I would put up with it but my room, hands, and clothes all smell like smoke. What do i do?

Perhaps return to the store, tell them about the problem and see if you can get a different loaner phone.

Try disinfecting every part of it with rubbing alcohol or place it next to some burning incense. Or do both (one after the other).

I would take the battery out. Wipe the whole phone down with a cotton cloth dampened with water and vinegar. (Maybe a tsp of vinegar in a cup of water. ) a damp Q-tip for the crevices. And then wrap the phone in a cotton cloth dry. Place the wrapped phone in a container with baking soda on the bottom. Leave it over night. The cotton cloth is for protection. Just seal the phone in a container with baking soda but dont set the phone on the baking soda. Put it on something. Or lightly wrap it in a cloth.

I still say bring it back and exchange it. If you damage the phone trying to clean it you're out your $150 deposit.

The bring it back is a better answer.
