So I had a phone number living in Quebec for about ten years, now I moved back to my hometown in BC but still have the QC phone number... Can I get the $35/month plan that is available in QC?

If you keep the Quebec number you can get any plan that is offered in QB. If you change to a BC number you will only be able to pick BC plans.

If you have family in QC, you may be able to use their address.

There may be loopholes to get it, but because they are loop holes, there is no certainty that it will work.  Ideally you would want to stay under the radar.  Once you do get it, dont do anything that would invoke anyone from Koodo to look at your account/details.

I’m not trying to scam Koodo out of $10 a month, just looking on behalf of someone else because she has been overpaying for her cell phone (unlimited calling, 250 texts, no data and it’s $60 a month after tax) and she is currently unemployed.

@mollie: what plan was it? and how many GB in it? $60 should give you 5GB and 500 minutes  in BC. $5 more and it will be unlimited Canada-wide.

An older Telus plan with a phone subsidy rolled in could be on the order of $55 before taxes.

@mollie your friend can look at current plans available to them in their home province in this case.  I am unsure why the need to mix provinces if there is no intent to "scam koodo out of $10 a month"
