Live Webstore Purchase Status or More Email Notification of Status

Currently there are no status notifications to customers who purchase from the webstore in between the initial order placement and order shipment. 
This has caused undue stress on customers who are confused with their purchase status since the credit card is charged right away. 

I think customers are understanding when the warehouse gets backed up and delays happen.  They just want to be kept in the loop.

They should also change phone IVR to not dump clients over voicemail who just want to hold and wait for a webstore rep at least give an option instead of having to callback 3,4,5+ times?

I would just remove the calling function of the web-store for public. As they already had the "updated" information

Calling should be redirected to 611, and there will be an option in 611 for "online orders".
