I am traveling to the United States for a week and I've gotten a voicemail while here. I want to listen to it but I do not know if I will be charged for calling my own voicemail account.

Checking your voicemail from your phone will be charged as roaming usage. You can check your voicemail from a landline by dialling your cell number and pressing * to interrupt the recorded greeting one your voicemail picks up.

Yes, it will use your minutes and you get charged for it at roaming minutes rate.  :(
