the current plan offers include +1GB of shock free data-does this mean they offer an additional GB of data? Is shock free data somehow different from regular data? Why wouldn't they just write 2GB of data with the shock free service.

It's exactly that. 2gb. But it used to only be 1 for that price. And stress free data means you get notifications for 50 90 and 100 percent of your data being used and will stop you from going over unless you tell it to.

Excellent, thanks for clearing that up for me!

Why wouldn't they just write 2GB of data with the shock free service?

Because they are calling their product / offering 'Shock-free Data' to differentiate from other vendors.

Right, in that case, maybe just saying "2GB shock free data" would be clearer.

It a promotion Jaxor. The plan you are looking at normally comes only with 1GB of data. The promo right now includes an extra gig at no extra charge, hence the separation.
Is the 1GB + the extra 1GB permanent? cause I don't want to switch to this plan then have it disappear and be charged.

Permanent, yes, as long as you have the plan.
HI, thanks for the responce. just wondering how long this promo will be on for?

Well, at this point all I can tell what we said on our website. "Limited time only" - meaning that it could be over anytime.
I just switched to the plan! :) Just wondering when it will take into affect the 2 GB? This month? Next month? after that? Thanks

Should take effect by tomorrow, just bear in mind proration. Can't see you account, but depending on where you were in your bill cycle your prior plan is prorated and so is the new one, so don't be surprised about your next bill if it may look a little different.

I'm currently paying for a 2gb plan and now I see an offer with the same price but spelled as follow: 2 GB + 1 GB BONUS Shock-FreeTM data. Does that mean I could get 3gb or it's still 2gb but one of them is Shock free?

It's a total of 3gb shock-free-data Eric. You can switch to via your self serve account at no cost. Promo expires soon, so now is the time to do it. :-)
hello, I have 2 GB shock free currently, and its not enough, I pay $60. I'm wondering if I should switch to 1GB + 2 GB shock free for $5 extra? because doing 2 gb + 1 shock free bonus is $74...

Makes sense Joanna. It's not often that you could get 1gb extra for $5.

If you have a plan where you get 2gb sfd + 1gb, for 5 dollar under add on, does the 1gb stay on their forever?

Sorry what do you mean by "for 5 dollar under add on?" The +1 is a bonus that stays on forever so long as you keep the plan if you're referring to the 2+1gb plan currently available.

Nope the plan is 55 dollar for 2GB but when the bill comes it has a 10 percdnt discount on the 55 which means it’s 49.50 plus 1gb for $5 that’s in ad’s on.

That makes it 54.50 before tax.

I was just curious will this stay like this or?

That's an odd way of doing it. The 500MB + 500MB plan just shows up as 1GB.
Either way, yes. You keep that plan until you switch to another one.
