Trying to download new ringtone for my LG A341 but it says the service is not available when I try to do it from the phone, like I did on my old one. How do i do it? Also I'm being asked for a "security code' when i try to delete old call info. Not sure how I get that?

The default security code should be either 0000 or the last 4 digits of your phone number. Unfortunately, that ringtone service doesn't appear to have worked for nearly a year, according to another poster with the same problem. See link below.

One option might be to find the audio clip you want as a ringtone and store it on your microSD card or computer and follow the instructions below to change a ringtone. If you don't want to store the entire audio clip on your SD card and only want a shorter segment of the clip, download Audacity, a free audio editor where you can customize the length of an audio clip and export the file in various audio formats (e.g. .wav, .mp3, FLAC or AMR).

Link to Audacity download below.

To use an audio file on your microSD card, do the following.

From the home screen, press Menu.

Press # for Settings.
Select Audio & Ringtones.
Select Ringtone.
Select Sounds.
Select the desired ringtone (new audio/ringtone file).
Your ringtone is changed.
