I have an LG X POWER 2 for almost a year but recently my battery started to give me some hard time. Even if my charger is unplugged it display that its being charging. And it take for ever to get it 100% charge. almost 12 hours... It used to be like 3 hours. Is there a recall or something to be done about this issue??.

Regarding the correct %, I recommend doing a full battery discharge and then a full charge.

Recall? Nah. You can attempt a couple full discharge / charge cycles to see if that fixes it. Try using a different charger that you know works well to see if the problem follows. If neither end up being the issue then you might need to get a new battery.

take the habit of only recharge the phone when your battery is lower then 10% (5% or less is better) and once a month let the battery completely die before recharging the phone.

Also if your phone in less then a year it's still under warranty, pass by a Koodo store and get them to send it to repair, the will "loan you a device" in the meantime.

The way you are saying to charge a cell phone battery is debatable and not recommended by many.

For lithium ion batteries you ideally want to keep it to within 20-80% of its capacity. Once a month or so of a full charge /discharge cycle is recommended tho. Ideally you want it within 40-60 for maximum lifetime but thats just not practical. Even 20-80 isn't always practical. So at the least you want to charge at 20% whenever possible and going to 100 is ok.

If your having consistant battery troubles defiantly pop in to your closest Koodo store and they will send it out.

In the future avoid charging your phone over right, prolonged charging can lead to accelerated battery wear, causing issues like the one you're having now!

You could also look into buying an additional battery in case this happens again.
