LG G4 play store issues

I have been having issues with the play store since I got this phone in July 2016. The play store won't load, I just get a blank screen. I have to clear the app cache, force stop the app, and uninstall updates then restart the phone. Sometimes that doesn't even work. It's been an on-going issue. I have also been having issues with the phone heating up quite a bit at the top of the phone (around the camera and volume keys, the whole top part). If I play a game it gets scalding hot in about 4 minutes, if I'm surfing the internet it heats up quite a bit after about 10 minutes or so. I can't put a case on the phone at all or it heats up way too much. I know phones do heat up if they're on for a while, but my older phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) never heated up like this. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Is it the phone? Any tips?

Check out the following links. Seems like overheating is not an isolated issue.

To start up in safe mode with minimal software running:

Thank you! I have tried this before and it didn't seem to do much for my phone. I deleted apps and I don't keep a case on it anymore. I have rebooted it in safe mode to check for issues, deleted any new apps, but it didn't really seem to make a difference.

If in safe mode your phone is still heating up than chances are it is a hardware problem. I would send it in for repair.

I was hoping that wasn't the case. I'm going to go get it checked, thanks!
