Koodo recently released Android 6.0 for the LG G4, I have been experiencing issues with it. The main one is the screen not turning on, I have to press the power button several times in order for it to light up, sometimes I even have to plug it in. Also once you start a phone call the screen won't turn back on. Please let me know if anyone else is having this problem or if it is a hardware issue.

Have you tried performing a factory reset? Many issues can arise from updates simply due to things not getting optimized properly during the installation process, it's recommended to perform a factory reset after an update when issues arise and you should do so with a full battery while the device is plugged in.

Does factory reset erase all my data?

Indeed Noah!

A factory reset will erase all your data. What you have to do is, backing up your data first and then perform the factory reset. From this link (http://help.koodomobile.com/phone-troubleshooting/LG-G4), you find how to backup your device (Get started > Settings > Backing up and Restoring your phone).

Hope this helps.
