Let customers know that iPhones can go on Tab M and S

I know that Apple requires carriers to show the maximum subsidy online, but there's a lot of confusion for customers because of this. Would it be possible for Koodo to not directly advertise any prices but maybe place a more generic message saying "iPhones are also available on Tab S or M, ask a store or call us for details" or something along those lines? I ask because I don't know if you guys are allowed but if so, you should!

Definitely agree, seems weird to not advertise that.

I totally agree, but I think that Apple's rule doesn't allow Koodo to mention even that.

Does Apple really command such a following that they can have the audacity to make it mandatory for carriers to make them look less like a bunch of thieves with the upfront pricing of their phones? I mean, come on... Other manufacturers don't impose such bullcrap for the "privilege" of seeling their hardware.

Oh Apple... :o/

Apple can be pretty audacious.

Did I say pretty? I meant VERY.

But that's because they know now that they can get away with it. I mean, Androids, Blackberries and Windows phones are all smartphones, but iPhones are iPhones. They're something special and unique, totally different from anything else on the market and cannot ever be touched by those lesser models. (At least that's what a large portion of the consumer market believes, whether consciously or not.)

And as a result of consumer lust for Apple's product carriers are bending over backward to get the phone in their lineup. So Apple can make all the crazy demands it wants. Like when Koodo first got the iPhones and Apple forced them to have contracts. *shudder*

If there was one way for carriers to make themselves look a bit better, they should band up together and make Apple behave. We all know millions of people worship iPhones like their first born, but this behaviour is simply ridiculous. Anyway, I'll gladly keep encouraging other, saner, manufacturers.
