I brought Lenovo S660 from Europe, unlocked, quad band phone, does not work on Koodo but works on Rogers. I did enable all the settings 3g/2g, can not find Telus/Koodo network. Existing Koodo sim card works in my S2 and 4S.
Any idea?

If this is a dual sim phone, try switching sim slots.

Also make sure use 2G only isn't enabled in the mobile network setting s.

Thank you for reply.
I did swap sim slots. There is no 2G only, 3G or 2G/3G choice, I did try both.

Isn't there also a setting to choose which SIM slot is active? Try that too. Toggle airplane mode on/off.

Aside from that it should work if it supports the 850/1900 bands. I checked gsmarena and it says it does but maybe it's a different model that has those?

Yes there is a setting, does recognise sim, telus, did airplane toggle. I did check IMEI,for some reason recognised as Lenovo 526, yes I did check GSM arena before I purchased, has to be compatible, the only difference with s2 and 4s is evdo.

Hello Ger Kz,

Your Lenovo S660 from Europe seems compatible with Koodo’s network. I suggest you give us a call dialing 611 from a Koodo phone or 1-866-995-6636 from any other phone and choose option 6 to speak with a technician who’ll be able to troubleshoot this further. Let us know what happens:)

I don't see how the Lenovo S660 would be compatible with Koodo's network. Gsmarena has been known to list incorrect info from time to time.

2G Network: GSM 900 MHz/1800 MHz/1900 MHz
3G Network: 2100 MHz/900 MHz

Thank you for reply! Just to confirm: under my MTK tools I can see GSM850,PCS1900,DSC1800,EGSM900, Also under UMTS mode WCDMA-IMT-2000 and WCDMA-GSM900. So it has 850/1900 as far as I understood or it has to be WCDMA 850/1900?

Correct. HSPA/W-CDMA 850/1900 MHz. HSPA is a merging of both HSDPA and HSUPA protocols which serves to further improve the performance of mobile networks using W-CDMA protocols.
