Hi Darin,

Which latest devices are you referring to? That's quite a broad spectrum. If there's a particular device that you'd like to see Koodo have then let them know what you think should be coming next.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is coming soon (no definite date yet but it's coming). There are plenty of people asking for the Blackberry Passport so that might come to Koodo eventually. Just have to be a bit more specific.

Is it possible for Koodo customers to purchase Telus phones for use on the Koodo network?

Hi Trace,

Most Telus phones will work with Koodo. iPhones, Blackberry BB10 phones, Windows phones and some android phones work with on Koodo without having to unlock them beforehand. The best way to find out if the Telus phone you have will work is to pop in a Koodo sim card and see if it will connect.

Hope that helps :)

I realize most will work, the issue is getting newer phones with Koodo. One way to accomplish that would be to allow Koodo customers to purchase Telus phones for use on Koodo.

This is true, but unfortunately in order to do so, (at least for now, unless things change, but not likely) you have to buy the phones outright as they're not available on Koodo which can be a pain. Plus where the other phones are sold through Telus they aren't available on Koodos subsidy structure. But I do agree it would be nice to be able to buy the newer phones at a Telus store and still get to choose the subsidies that Koodo offers.
