I got a new Moto G 3rd gen because I loved me first gen, but wanted more space for apps and games. This is the second SD card I've tried with the phone. It work at first, but now if I try to download a larger app like a game, the store crashes. I've all the troubleshooting proceedings I can find online. I just want to know what SD card will actually work in my phone without causing problems?

You may have to perform a factory reset. If you're given the option to use the SD card as Adoptable Storage you may want to consider enabling that. Keep in mind a factory reset deletes all user data and returns your device to the new in box condition. So backup anything important like photos and documents before you begin.

Adoptable storage makes the SD card part of your system storage. It's not available on every device but I do belive it is on the Moto G. Make sure you have a high quality brand name storage card. Class 10 or UHD 1 or higher. Click the link below for more information about adoptable storage.

Edit: UHD should be UHS
