Lack of local service

I purchased my phone and plan at a kiosk in ST. John's NL. after a few months i decided to downgrade my plan si I visited a kiosk here in Corner Brook NL.they could not do it I had to call a 1-800 number. WHY COULD I NOT GET THIS DONE LOCALLY????????????

You can log into your SElf SErve account and change the plan there. Koodo shops cannot change a rate plan unless you are upgrading your device.

Maybe by not allowing the Koodo shops to down grade a service the customer will say F%^&& it and they keep getting paid the extra money'

Well they could have offered to call channel support and help you but they didn't... kiosk people don't have power to change plans, they have to call in.

Why wouldn't you just do it yourself? Online. You can could save yourself the headache to travel to a koodo store.
