I'm always afriad of losing my phone, or accidentally getting charged a ridiculous amount due to a mistake, misinformation, etc. So I've always been a fan of prepaid, since I cancelled my monthly plan over 3 years ago.

Prepaid plans usually include voicemail, call display, etc. for free. However, the article doesn't mention any of that. Do you know if it will be included in the price? Or will Koodo be charging extra for that?

If it's included with the price, I'll likely consider switching from Chatr to Koodo (since I rarely use my phone before 5pm, and I need long distance). However, if it's going to be an additional charge, then it's not worth the switch.

Whether you use prepaid or not accuracy of charges are the same I would think. The only protection you have that your prepaid has a cap based on how much money you have on it. All prepaid plans tend to be more expensive on a per minute basis than the monthly plans.
Koodo's monthly already include call display and voicemail and they don't have any long distance charges. They made all calls local.

If the prepaid plans include voicemail and call display, then I don't think it would be more expensive... I'd say the $35 prepaid plan is pretty comparable to the $30 monthly plan, as you'd have to add $5 to get unlimited texts on monthly.

Hardly worth celebrating. People are still getting billed by the minute...

can pre-paid plan of $25 per month can be used for buying phone on Tab?
Or does Tab and pre-paid plan works together?

I want to buy Samsung Galaxy Ace (on Tab) with pre-paid plan of $25.

If you're getting a phone on a tab you have to get it on a monthly plan (not prepaid).
