Koodo more expensive than Fido or Virgin for the same plan

So, Koodo is the only one with no $25 Plan, way to Koodo! I will be getting a new line for my daughter from Fido or Virgin instead, even though all three lines I have are with Koodo. It's the same story of loyal Toyota customers going to Hyundai...

If "loyal" customers leave simply because someone else offers a better deal then by definition they are not loyal, they are mercenaries.

I'm not arguing with the definitions, rather the usage :)

Usage is accurate. Don't claim to be loyal while at the same time threatening to switch sides for a better deal.

Neither Fido or Virigin offers $25 plans anymore. At least it's not on their website. Not sure where you got your info.

The term "mercenary" is kind of dumb, if you want to be ripped off (even more) by any carrier then good for you, in the end is your money not mine, but being smart about your expenses (which is not your case obviously) is not been a mercenary, can I say that you are a mercenary because you get paid for doing your job? I don't think that's right, anyways, enjoy your day...and get ripped off, if that makes you happy.

According to my recent comparison (as of 3 minutes ago) Fido and Virgins plans range from the same price to $5 more expensive.

Fido: http://www.fido.ca/web/page/portal/Fi...

Virgin: http://www.virginmobile.ca/en/plans/s...

Same price guys, not more expensive, but you know what? We should be use to this kind of stuff between all the carriers, so yes, I retract from the original post (although the "other guys" were cheaper until last week) and yes, I will stay with Koodo, do I have another choice?

Yeap, we live in a free country. Luckily! :-) That said there must have been some good reason why people voted koodo to be the best.

Yep, free country alright, then there's that part just below the headline...

"Average monthly cellphone bill $77, up $9 from last year".

Also interesting...

The study also found that cellphone users who accessed customer service via the internet were more satisfied than those who called their wireless carrier or visited a store...

I find that kind of true mattjs. Every time I had to contact Customer Service with other carriers, it was just the worst thing you would have to do. Long wait times, reps giving you other information that you don't really want, etc.

With Koodo, the "contact us option: email" is brilliant. I get an accurate response that helps my issue within 1 business day. Also, the community is great.

But I have seen a lack of cheap plans lately...

Yeah same here, I'll always try and do anything online as opposed to going to an actual store or having to call in, so much more efficient and timely imo.
