Now i dont want to sound like a cheapskate but last month i was over charge by a couple dollars for my bill now i just called to query it so the guy begin to explain this month bill that i didnt ask for and he gave me two totals 57.95+47.02
which is 104.98 now i missed this completely but using addition shouldnt i get 104.97 and believe it its printed on my bill exactly like that so i would like to know if a cent is added after a certain amount

It's rounding error when calculating tax.

When the lines are calculated separately (with tax) it is $57.95 and $47.02.

But when your two lines are calculated together (with tax) it becomes $104.98
