Koodo is the best service I've ever had!

So great!
Not only did I pay for a phone outright over 3 years ago, because I was not allowed to use my tab, I am not being told I owe $65 on said phone!
WOW, what a deal you guys!
If you love being ripped off as much as I do, you should switch to koodo!

Quite litterally the worst compoany I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
May I ask why you even pay to have staff at koodo stores? I've gone to the nearest store in my area at least 10 times with different questions and issues only to be turned away and told to "go do it online" Super great stuff. Your employees must love collecting a paycheck for doing absolutely nothing but screwing your customers around. When doing it online prevails as useless as I imagined it would, I then call customer service, and you will not believe just how great the people halfway across the world are at answering my questions about my personal account! (HINT: not great!)

My guess: you had a very large down payment on the phone you got 3 years ago but there was still some Tab used to get that phone but you thought you had bought it outright... What phone was it? If it was an iPhone and you took a very cheap plan ($20, $25) and have never gone over, then that doesn't surprise me.

Or have you used the Tab at all within those 3 years to get another phone to replace a broken one or something? Do you still have any paperwork? We can't see your account here but that's all I can think of. Since you're probably still on the old 10% payback system without any 2 year guarantee, the old Tabs took a long time to go down.

Or... you could have a POSITIVE Tab of 65 and you're not reading it correctly. I don't know. Did you know you can actually see your Tab redemption history in Self Serve?

Now I can't really comment on the other stuff. Yes, it's true, most companies these days push a self-service for most account related maintenance like changing plans, resetting voicemail, etc. with some things still requiring calling in. Kiosk reps have more limited account access/permissions than you may realize but rudeness is another story.

What is up with your phone or plan that you need this much help Erin? I can't remember the last time I had to call koodo, it's been so long. But you are right, they, like everyone else nowadays, preferred you did most things yourself online. It's dead easy though so it's not a big deal for us.
