I was wondering if it would be at all possible to put this towards my bill? since it's money that was added to my bill as "Tab" once my phone was payed off on the assumption I was going to buy another phone on tab.

Although I understand your concern, it is not possible to put it towards bill credit.

An example.. a bank gives you loan.. you pay it off.. You don't continue paying it off on the premise you can accumulate more money towards another loan.

Say, if you have $30 plan and your Tab charge was $5/mo. = $35/mo.
Once you paid off your phone/Tab, $5/mo tab charge will be removed and you just pay for your plan $30/mo.
If you check E-bill (PDF) through self serve, you can check your bill for last 18 months.

If you're still on that old plan, your tab will continue to accrue up to +150$!
If you're not on that plan anymore then your tab will sit at its current level.
Tab balances have no cash value and can only be used toward phone purchases.
Hope this helps.

If you want to switch to a new plan where Koodo no long does this and the Tab is factored out of your plan price, you can change yoyur plan on self serve.

@Pudgey
Can you check your Ebill, Page 3. This $5 can be some overage charge...?

You were on the classic tab system and were able to accumulate a positive balance of $95 as you point out. The positive balance is fully comprised of Koodo's contribution. If you look at your old bills, each month you paid a portion towards the tab, and so did Koodo. Once your tab balance was paid off (in Dec. 2015), you stopped paying towards the tab - since your phone balance was cleared - but Koodo continued to contribute to help you with the purchase of a phone in the future.
As stated above, you can use this as a credit towards the purchase of a new phone through Koodo.. but it holds no value otherwise.

Thought I was still paying towards it. I was about to choke my cat. You saved a life today.
Cheers Koodo Peeps.
