Hello,

I referred my friend yesterday and he made an account in person at the kiosk. I gave him my information and assumed everything would be fine and they would search up my information and link the referral. Wrong. Little did I know, he pulled a fast one and put the referral under their account.

Now as a a customer who is bringing REAL referrals, this practice needs to be addressed. As for my credit and this situation, we would like to have this fixed.

You are suppose to login and send the referral to your friend prior to activation and your friend will need to enter their email to accept the referral.  If you try to do this after activation it wont work.

I know. But you would also have to order online for the sim/phone. Didnt want to wait 5 days for a sim card to be delivered and I dont get why they dont have an option to pick up at a location esp for something like a simcard.

More importantly, I feel cheated and the agent was dishonest with the process.

Yes.
The sim part is just my experience with the online ordering. I dont get why they dont  have the option to pick up the sim from any kiosk. For cellphones, I get inventory issues ect...

Now there a rep thats able to address this?

Agree with Azure123.
you dont need to to order online.  All your friend needed to do was click on your referral link and enter their email.  Then when they activate, they only need to use the same email

Ok, but your friend did open his email (at his will) to activate and accept the referral from the agent (and rejected yours). So in order to dispute the "cheating" part, you will need to make a proper case with enough evidence. Your friend is the one who chose the referral part, hence needs to join the loop to complete the case or the "agent" at store can simply said "it was your friend preference"

I would still report the agent.  Do you have their name? Location of kiosk? City?
