Koodo Referral Recourse?

So I screwed up and squandered getting the $100 koodo referral, it was what tipped the scales on deciding to migrating over to koodo from PM. I was not aware that I had to open up the original online referral registration email to type in the ported-in koodo number. I thought koodo would send a new email after SIM card gets activated. Well now the 30 days to claim the $100 referral has expired, no $100 referral, no $25 referral, and i had to pay for the SIM card. What recourse do I have, if any?

I don't think you have any way to fix it. Was my first time doing it the other day and it was pretty straight forward. You can try sending Koodo a private message to their FB page and see if thry can do anything but I wouldn't expect it but worth a try I guess.

As Paul said I don't think you have any recourse. It's a pretty straight forward process and they normally don't allow exceptions from what I've seen. You can try though. Referral questions are handled through the link below.

Paul and Mats are right! The support for referrals is limited as the rules of the program must be followed before the activation. Therefore, if a user follows the rules, we will apply the credit. i was hoping for some goodwill from koodo, to ease this mistake of not knowing the process. like now that exams just finished did i have some time to realize that i did not complete the referral process properly, which makes registering online a waste, cause i could have just gone in store and at least got a free SIM/$25 credit.

i am still within the first 15 days of activating this plan would canceling and going back to PM be an option?

Leaving and going to another carrier is always an option sure. Probably won't find a better deal than your getting with koodo right now though, I was with public and with no extras like phone selection on the tab, VOLTE and other things like bring able to talk to an actual human if need be ect was a hassle at times and glad I came back to Koodo where I get all that for thr price I was paying Public for basic service with no frills what so ever
