I have owned this Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo for over a year now. It's starting to have some issues with the port where I can connect it to the computer to charge or access files and sometimes disconnect or is not detected. With Koodo Phone Protection plan would I be covered for getting a replacement? Even if the replacement phone I would want is just the same one?

Hi Josh,
I didn't have experiences with it before. But if you paid the fee, then you can follow the link and ask them https://www.koodomobile.com/help/koodo-phone-protection-plan

It looks like they can provide a replacement phone

If you don't pay the extra for the extended warranty then you can try to get a repair but in most cases this would be considered physical damage because it occurs when using he phone while plugged in and the connections inside the phone get bend and don't come into contact with the cables connects anymore.

Try using a different cable maybe this will solve your problem. Sometimes, the USB cable is the source of the problem.
