Koodo keeps getting worse and worse, SIM ONLY tab question

So the only reason all these years I stayed with Koodo is because long ago I signed up back when you know....Tabs paid themself off just as a % of your monthly bill, and if your phone was fully paid off you would get a discount off monthly bill. They use to offer perks but now everything is only for new customers with absolutely zero offers really to keep existing customers around. Why not offer rewards to an existing customer choosing to stay with you and get a new phone through you again after being with you 8 years?

But heres my question, I was on the old tab system I believe mine may have been called SM, My monthly bill is about 68 after taxes and about $8.50 a month would go to my positive tab at that point.... I had a positive tab over $50 up, went in explained to the guy working I wanted a new phone but I would only stay with koodo if they did not change my plan and did not change my tab at all.

I said I can easily go somewhere else and they will offer me a better free phone and sign up bonuses where as you arent offering me any bonuses. But as long as you dont change my tab or plan I will pay the phone up front and stay with you guys, if not i have no reason not to go elsewhere.

Now looking at my account, I have SIM ONLY tab, and even after paying a bill its just sitting at zero. Im guessing sim only tab is just basically like not having a tab period, but isnt going to go positive?

This is a scam man, I was very specific that if they were going to change my plan OR TAB what so ever I would go elsewhere, get a free phone plus bonus perks and would've saved myself over $300 in the process

The guy who sold me the phone in a koodo store said there would be NO CHANGES to my plan OR TAB

This is BS

Can someone explain to me what the SIM ONLY tab is, and if they did in fact just sell me a lie and screw me over here? If they did I will be walking out on koodo so fast after 8 years, thats a real low life business move

And to add to this, yes I know the old tabs don't exist going forward but thats exactly why I paid outfront, i didn't have a negative tab I had positive and the rest of the phone I paid out front. This sales rep lied right to my face selling me this phone is the gist of what Im getting from this as I wouldnt even have stayed with koodo on SIM ONLY i made it clear if there was to be any changes at all to my tab I was gone.

Selling lies....pretty terrible customer service after 8 years
