Koodo is extremely questionable. Got my phone with them a month ago. Was told I have 30 days to return phone if services are not working. Phone lasted exactly 30 days, now I cannot recieve incoming texts or data. Was told it is due to their service area not being covered here but they can try to give me a deal on my tab. Now I have to pay for services I am not recieving. As soon as I can afford to pay the phone off and unlock it I am cancelling and telling everyone I know never to go with koodo. Waste of my hard earned cash.

Where are you living that is "not being covered".  And as far as I know, the return policy is 15 days, not 30 days.

Janetville. Just south of Lindsay ON. this is what they told me today. And there is nothing they can do about it.

If the phone has ceased working, i.e. it was working in Janetville for 29 days and suddenly stopped, and now does not work anywhere, then there is a manufacturer's warranty for a year. If it is suddenly not working just in Janetville, then it may be a temporary localized outage, which will be rectified in a short time.

There is a tower about 6 km south of you, and another 8 km north, so coverage should not be a problem in normal circumstances.

I believe you need to do a bit more investigating of your phone before jumping to conclusions. Please share what you learn.

When I spoke with them yesterday they told me it was due to not having enough towers this way and that they don't plan on building anymore here.

With 2, maybe 3 towers within 8- 10 km, there should be good coverage. Unless the number of subscribers increases exponentially, I would not expect any new towers built closer to Janetville.

You still have not indicated if you had service & lost it, or never had service at all. Nor have you indicated if the phone works when you travel elsewhere.
