I signed up for a $45.00 base plan each month with Koodo's and was given 200 minutes for doing so! Today Koodo stated I had no minutes left and I had to top up!!! I checked my billing and I did not even go over 200 minutes. Does Customer Service know what they are doing!!!

hi Kate,

Sometimes, the latest call (in/out) weren't updated in the report. I would suggest you check the billing and see what the latest calls (in/out) were. If you didn't see your latest call (or received call) then the report was not updated properly.

After that, if you still think you had some minutes left, and Koodo stopped you, you would need to contact them directly to dispute. I would suggest you contact them through facebook/twitter to avoid the wait on phone. (links for facebook/twitter is at the bottom of this page)

I called Koodo Customer Service.....they hung up on me and charged me 10.00 that I had just added.  I am so frustrated with koodo and their complete lack of customer service.  When speaking with a service rep to straighten out account, customers shouldn't be charged when it's Koodo making a mistake!!!  Now I can't even access my account, as the will not recognize my email address, however, Koodo Forum has no problem sending me email messages!!!!  How do I talk to a human being to get this straighted out!  I signed up for a base plan...they said I had 200 minutes.  I didn't even use 200 minutes!!!!!

They only charge you if you can do it yourself in selfserve.

So you seems to have problem with accessing selfserve? have you tried to reset the password https://prepaidselfserve.koodomobile.com/From another thread, you already called them?

The $45 base plan comes with unlimited province wide calling. I take it that you were given a Canada wide talk booster with 200 minutes on it. If you can log in to your account now, have a look at your talk booster. That is what has probably been used up if you received a message that you had no minutes left. Just a possibility since I dont know if Koodo tracks your province wide calling.

I don't use Province Wide Calling, however, if we dial a 1 800 number, is that considered a long distance call?

It should be a local call.

Edit: The call might have to be made from your home province to be considered a local call.
