Koodo doesn't want my money

You can log in at koodomobile.com and pay your bill 24/7/365.

AFAIK, the app is being phased out.

The problem is the app gives me an error when I try to pay. So not really 24/7/365

I should have been more clear. I started with the app. It spit me out redirected me to the website. I logged into the website. When I try to pay my bill I get a transaction error, (on the website ) . I have verified it is not an issue with my credit card.

What kind of error is it giving you, specifically? A generic transaction error with no info, or a "failed due to blah blah blah" error? I didn't complete the payment when I tried it (because I was only testing), so I didn't get as far as you in trying.

It looks like, for one reason or another your credit card is getting declined. I see that in the previous months it had gone through. Due to privacy regulation we do not get any more detail as to the reason. There could be a number of them. As far as I can tell it's best to contact the issuer. The challenge is that due to the number of attempts you made, even if the card details are fixed, it may not accept the card anymore. You could make a payment on your bank's website too. All you need is your Koodo account number to set it up.

Brian, simply bookmark the login page via your browser on the phone and add the icon to your screen. It will work like the app and you will have access to far more functionalities.

You can pay via online banking as well if you'd rather not use the self-serve website as suggested already.

I would like to use the self serve app. But unfortunately, I am still getting a transaction error. It seems a little ironic that I can't PHONE my cell phone provider. How does koodo stay in business if they won't accept payment?

Try using the website, not the app. You should be able to call 611 as well if you want to pay that way.

Could just be an error within the app there working on and maybe koodo is working on it  , otherwise try to reinstall the app if you really want to pay through the app to see if that works, otherwise go through the website or dont pay , nothing wrong with that :o)

I'm not sure why you keep referencing the app after we say repeatedly to instead use the website. If the app isn't working Koodo expects you to use another form of payment. As would any other entity receiving payment. You can even use the automated phone payment system by dialing #227 option 3.

The app would simply take you to our website as well Brian. The payment feature is a redirect to our self serve page online.
