hi Frances,

What was the  model of the phone you were using? What activities did you do during the 5 seconds? If you had certain proof of something wrong, you could dispute with Koodo.

How did you spend $2000 on prepaid plans with Koodo? it was like $166/months. That is unbelievable. Can you tell us more?

That is a huge amount to spend on data. Maybe you should think about going to postpaid instead of prepaid. Lots of good deals on right now with bonus data for 2 years.

You can try Public Mobile for better data rates. They are entirely prepaid so you wouldn't have issues with getting cheaper data. They currently have 4gb for 40 bucks governed to 3mbps. This is assuming that something isn't draining your data or that you cannot contain your data usage as Dennis said. If you have an android phone there are data compression apps also.

Um... Koodo doesn't control what you do on your phone.
If you did the same thing with a another provider, you would run Into the same problem.

Why don't we solve your data consumption issue here first and you can still leave koodo but at least you will have more control with your data.

Have you disabled data on most of your apps so it's not using so much data? How much data are your apps using? You can find all this info in your Settings app

@Frances you are going to want to track down what apps are using up your data so quickly.  How to do so:  on an iPhone, or on an Android phone.
