Yes you can.

but I recommend getting a new number when you order online.  Once you get your phone, you can login for self serve and port your number over whenever you want.  This way you still have access to your Videotron phone while your koodo phone is being shipped to you.  Note that it takes prolly a week to pick you order before you ship (so dont expect it to be quick)

Yes you can. When you order your Koodo plan will come with a new number. Then you can port your old number in.

Also make sure you dont cancel your videotron account. Porting your number through self serve will cancel your videotron service. If you cancel before you port your phone number will be gone.

If you're bringing your old videotron iphone over to Koodo make sure you get it unlocked by videotron before porting or it wont work.

Doing it online shouldnt cause you any problems. You will still be able to do everything you want.

Nobody has complete control over porting a number, unless it's within the same company. So there may be a time (usually just a few hours while everybody is handshaking) where your Videotron phone will continue to receive calls while your new Koodo phone will be OK for outgoing.

Following the method suggested by Dennis and Mats is best if you can't afford to be out of touch at all on that number.
