One new unlocked iPhone s6, one very basic Nokia, want to keep existing numbers currently using Virgin and switch to Koodo PrePaid. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

TheĀ  magic word is "unlocked"; doing that for an iPhone can cost $$$.

AFAIK, Koodo has only one number per pre-paid account. Porting is relatively easy. Do the Nokia first, and check it out. Sign up for auto top-up and save 10% on base-plan renewals.

If you are happy after a week or so, then do the iPhone as a second account.

Thanks! Our usage is extremely peak/valley so glad prepaid xfr would be possible. The iPhone is a gift, brand new, no SIM card, from Apple Store so I assume it's unlocked! I want the low cost pre paid so that when we're in UK for months, I can keep our CDN # for minimal cost while using our (very much cheaper) UK #s. We aren't wealthy so we live frugally both here and there.

While you are overseas, you only have to maintain your account every 89 days to preserve your talk & data banks. They evaporate after 90 days of your baseplan not being topped up.

I figure a credit card auto top up of the bare text plan would work, or?

I just unlocked an Iphone 6 that was Bell Mobility dedicated over the weekend...it cost me $56...I would imagine a Virgin Iphone would be the same$

Yep 50 plus tax 56.50

And yes you can do the bare text plan to preserve the account.
