How much data does your plan have?

Since you got the phone, what have you been using data for on the phone?

How much data did you use? You can check this on your self serve
Note that updates, app notifications, icloud, etc, all use your data when you are not on wifi

Your data gets prorated when you activate. You only get a % of your data bucket until the end of your billing cycle. With smartphones in general it's always a good idea to shut your data off as you don't need it and to turn it back on and you use it. Remember to always connect to wifi hotspots where ever available and make sure your data on the phone is off in your settings! Cheers!

Actually, data is the only thing that doesn't get prorated when the plan is changed.
