Just signed up and it's the wrong phone plan? Can't transfer number either?

I was using Public Mobile and recieved a promotion for a switch to koodo. Took the deal, was $55 for 6G LTE4g data, unlimited text &calling and when I recieved my sim and signed up the phone plan says $45 for 2G. I was under the impression I could transfer my number (I've had it for 4 years) and it just says can't be processed.

It seemed you had a big mess there. Did you receive the activation email and SIM from Koodo yet?


If you got the wrong plan, you cannot do anything in your selfserve now, you would need to contact Koodo directly to ask them to help. I would suggest you send message to their facebook(https://www.facebook.com/Koodo), so you don't have to wait on phone.
I'll try contacting them on Facebook, I have the SIM and recieved the emails already which is why I'm so confused

@mats: my full sentence is "Make sure you get the right plan, otherwise just cancel the wrong plan with Koodo and restart everything". I would prefer you copied everything rather than just picking a few words. I would leave this here. This had nothing to OP. 

Anyway, you are not Koodo, and neither do I. So don't say  "isn't needed something". We cannot confirm anything, only Koodo can.

Dinh, edit my post(since I cant or I would to please you) to whatever you want it to say. I still say cancelling and restarting everything is not needed no matter what plan she has. If you cant understand that then so be it.

@Mats: what was the matter with your post that you asked someone to edit?. I don't remove  or edit other people post because of people opinion differences. I stated my opinion and you stated yours. I removed the picture in the post below because he/she posted an ID photo that exposed private information.

@Allen,
I removed the picture. Don't put a picture of your driver license or anything important here. this is a public forum. Anyone can see it. People here don't have access to your account, so they cannot change the address for you.

Are you trying to activate your prepaid SIM. Koodo is using Canada post address system. Make sure you follow them or I would double check if everything was entered correctly.
