Don't expect to learn it all at once. Start with some simple things and grow your knowledge from there. First things I would look at would be making calls, setting up contacts, and getting email set up. Other stuff can wait. A phone such as a Nexus 5 can do so many different things that even the best only use a small portion of its capabilities.

Don't forget your Nexus is closely integrated with Google's services, so it will take some time to get it set up, especially if you are not currently a big Google products user.

Most of all, take time to enjoy your phone; it really IS a computer in your pocket!
