Hey Koodo, its time to bring 55$ 5gb sask plan in Alberta now. If KOODO does not offer a similar plan, i am going to move all four lines of my household to this plan before the offer expires . I am aware that this is available for old customers, but when i tell them i want to move 4 lines, what is the likely answer i am going to get? Ya you are smart enough to think.

If that fido plan is being offered to you in Alberta I would totally switch.
I would advise switching a day before the deadline just in case.

Not sure if Koodo will have anything similar out for Alberta but I hope so.

Hey Dennis, this is not offered to me. I got this from a website and this is available throughout Canada. The point i tried to make is i have 4 lines with koodo and if i move them, most likely fido rep will give me this plan. I will still wait for Koodo beacause nonone wouldnt wanna go through sim activating and making calls and stuff. It wont make sense if Koodo offers this later for the people who joined fido for this plan and try to lur them back lol

A plan like this is very difficult to come by. I hope Koodo can offer something like this but the pessimist in me would not be very hopeful based on the recent plans I see.

If you can get this plan from fido I would recommend that you aggressively pursue this. Don't wait and see if Koodo would come up with something comparable. You may be waiting forever.

That's awesome, but it's standard only. Your subsidies will be very low. You'd be better off just getting phones outright at that point.

Interesting. Based on the copy of the email it sounds like it's what they call a "winback" offer. Too bad for existing Fido customers as I don't think they have access to this. And that's another telco bull (if I leave you'll give me a better offer that what I had while I was with you), but I guess we live in a world where it's everyone for themselves.

well if you mean that i am trying to get a better deal by threatening to leave KOODO, that is not my point. The point i tried to make is when i move my lines to FIDO, what if Koodo does the same thing and introduce 55$ plan either to everyone or people who have cancelled in past. Telus gives discount on leaving not KOODO by my experience.
