My phone was lost or stolen I was told when receiving the phone that it could be cancelled at any time and that my tab was 150.00 After reviewing my account I find my tab is 250.00 It seems senseless to keep paying airtime etc on something that can't be used. I want to cancel it and look for other options and pay my tab off

You can cancel it and pay the Tab off anytime you want that part is true.

It sounds like you were put on a $300 Tab. That, unfortunately, is difficult to reverse. You may have to get in contact with the Rep who sold you the device.

Unfortunately I bought the phone at Walmart and I don't know who the rep rep was

You don't need to know the rep. You signed an agreement at the time you bought your phone. Just pull that out. It shows all the details. If it shows you had a $150 tab than that's what it is. If it shows $300 than that's what it is. Your initials are likely next to it.

Her account shows signs of it being $300 Tab.

If that's the case she would need to know the Reps name as to confront them and try to have the store work something out. If the Rep told her she had a $150 Tab then gave her a $300 Tab that's a big integrity concern. But it's her word against his.

Rep's name should also be on the contract. Or an ID. It's on ours. Her word is not against his. She signed the papers. We only know one side of the story. We don't know what the rep said incorrectly, if anything. I have full confidence Diane read before she signed. :-) In which case she agreed to the terms.

Yeah it's all likely a big misunderstanding.

Very sorry to hear you lost your phone, Diane. You might consider a cheaper interim phone so you can at least make use of your cell plan. At least you'd still be connected...
