I've been having a growing number of issues with my Samsung Galaxy S2 X.

Calls: I can call people, but they often can't hear me and just hang up, or it echoes to the point where they can't hear me very well.

Apps: Music Player keeps restarting from the very beginning of my music every time I open it, regardless of the fact that I was in the middle of a completely different song, the apps often crash for no reason, and the message notification icon will not go away.

if you're getting a lot of app cashes and forced close errors chances are you need to restore the phone to factory using recovery

make sure you backup or sync your contacts and other important info before you begin.

turn the phone of and remove the battery then put it back in

hold both volume key and the power button. when you see the galaxy splash screen let go of the power key

use the menu to perform a data wipe / reset

if you still have issues you may want to call tech support

I had the same situation right now. What happened with your phone, did they fix it?

Hi Victoria,

What were you doing on your phone when you started getting these issues? If you provide some details as to what happened then we may be able to get a solution figured out to be able to help you.

Twice in the past week, I have had the same problem with my phone freezing when I was taking a photo (which did not save at all). I was not able to do anything at all with the phone as it was completely stuck, but I managed to turn it off anyway. When I turned it back on, it seemed ok though. Why does it do this?

Do you have a microSD card installed? If not, all your photos are being stored in the phones' internal storage area and it may be nearing full capacity. Usually, you'll get a message or a warning icon in the notification area of low storage space. In some cases, the S2x won't take the photo at all until the low storage problem is resolved. If you do have a microSD card installed, by default all photos taken are stored on the microSD card.
