Is there an outage in Vernon, BC? Both phones only show rogers' towers, don't want to pay roaming!

Are both of your phones set to 2G only? Rogers is the only Canadian carrier that supports 2G service, but don't worry about roaming fees, you can't use Rogers' network anyway.

Thought that was it. Out of curiousity, were you recently in the US?

Some areas in the US only have 2G coverage that you can roam on, so when you enter those areaa you phone switches to 2G only because that's all that's available and it saves battery life. The only problem is that you have to manually reactivate 3G which is the only service you can get with Koodo.
