Is there a "home only" option on the Galaxy S2? I want to prevent my phone from switching to another network carrier.

You just need to change the network selection to manual instead of automatic.

Settings...wireless and networks...more...mobile networks...network selection

Your phone will scan and show the available networks. Choose Koodo.

That's it.

Ok cool...thanks! So this will prevent it from switching from now on? I know how to switch it back to Koodo but want to stop it from switching in the first place lol

It "should" some phones are finicky and may switch the settings back so check it after you do a restart and be sure it's still on manual.

Oh and that scan may take a minute or two. Just be patient.

Ok thank you!! I got a way better answer from you then I did a tech support agent from Samsung smh...she told me how to change my carrier after the fact. She said nothing about manual vs. automatic lol her final reply was to contact my carrier to resolve the issue. I told her that it was a phone setting thing and nothing to do with the carrier's network but she was convinced lol clearly reading from a script! Thanks for ur help!!
