Is there a fee for incoming texts from my university library system?

My university library (Western University) offers a service where they send text reminders when your items are available for pickup or due for return. I have unlimited messaging so I believe that there aren't any additional charges from Koodo for this service, unless these are treated as "premium messages". It'd be nice if someone using this (or similar) service would chime in.

I'm using a service similar to yours for trains being late (an alert when it's late) with the same message as your service. I haven't been charged once for it.

I have the same system with Mcgill University, so far, no charges... I think those are just treated as regular sms... I think you will be fine...

My understanding is that Premium texts are only when the service charges the carrier

There have been many cases in the past where the carrier charges it as premium even though the service provider doesn't charge Koodo
