Recently purchased a second-hand Samasung Galaxy S3 SGH-I747m phone for use on Koodo. It was locked to Rogers, but I had it unlocked and flashed the koodo 4.4.2 firmware to it through Odin. Upon reboot,it seems to be telus branded through the internet explorer, which opens to a telus page, and it has telus apps but my wife's koodo phone has different firmware and apps. Both are I747MVLUFNE6 and the file I downloaded even has KDO at the end of the file. Did I just grab the wrong download or is there no koodo firmware for it?

When I had the S3 from Koodo it didn't have any Telus apps on it soI bbelieve your running Telus firmware not Koodo's.

Update: I've downloaded the Koodo firmware from Sam mobile but it's exactly the same size as telus. I think it may only available as an upgrade from existing firmware from Koodo, i. e. An ota update.

1. Settings=>More networks=>Mobile networks=> make sure Mobile data is checked.

2. In the same window, Network mode => LTE/WCDMA/GSM should be selected.

3. New APN settings:

Koodo sold the S2x variant of the S2, (model number SGH-T989D). The GT-i9100 was not sold through Koodo and is an international variant destined for European and Asian markets. You can download the appropriate firmware from SamMobile.
