It might be a stupid question, but:

Is receiving Text Messages from a website like Youtube are free? Because Youtube asked me my Number to send me a code for uploads videos longer than 15 mins. So, I want to know if is free or not.

If your Koodo plan is a recent plan and includes Unlimited Incoming/Outgoing Text messages then it should be free.

Unless you have an ancient plan, most, if not all cell phone plans in Canada do not charge for incoming text messages.

I don't think that koodo ever charged for incoming texting. Regardless, text messages from facebook, twitter, youtube, etc. are free. These sites make their revenue from advertisers. The ones you have to watch out for are companies like ifortune and jamster that make their money by tricking people into subscribing for paid services.
