Bottom line it's preference. I love the Samsung S4 but the iphone 5S are great for performance and have a better camera. Best source is to look at the phone specs of each phone online would be a good source for phone reviews for the specific phone you're interested in getting.

iPhone lovers will say NO, Android lovers will say YES :)
I like both, but I have invested quite a bit of money in Android now (apps) and I do like the flexibility such as a keyboard that swipes. And I'm quite immersed in anything Google.

If you are more involved with Apple products (Facetime, iTunes, Macbook, etc) then iPhone is better!

Well that's a tough one as most of it is up to preference,
I would suggest you pick out a Android and give it a test run for 10 days or so(less than 15) if you like it keep it if you don't take it back and grab a iphone

I have to agree with the above that it is strictly preference. For me yes my iPhone is the best phone, but I have lots of apple gadgets and time/money invested in the apple ecosystem/icloud. It comes down to looking at what they offer and figuring out what will meet your needs/wants better. No one person can tell you what one is better for you.
