I would like to top up a friends prepaid phone account, is there a way I can do this from my phone?

Not really, Justin... the easiest way to give your friend a top up is to buy a voucher and give them the number - then they can top it up themselves.

The reason is that even if you did have access to their number + pin, it would still be paid from their own credit card!

Ok thank you. I was just hoping to top his up without him knowing to be a blessing to him. It wouldn't take anything off his credit card because he doesn't have one.

That is a lovely gesture :) If you have access to his account (password) or if you have his PIN, you can top up his account but you'd have to add your own credit card... probably an arrangement neither of you want unless there is 100% trust between you two.

You can send (email) him the voucher number as a surprise - all he needs to do is call 611 or log in to self service and punch in the number. I'm sure it will be appreciated!

Hi Justin,

If you don't want to use your credit card, you should just be able to buy a voucher from a place that sells Koodo vouchers, call 1-866-995-6636 from any phone, enter your friends Prepaid cell # when it asks for it, and add the voucher. If his Base Plan has expired, then you may need to know his PIN# as well. But I'm pretty sure it doesn't ask for it if the Base Plan is still active (someone can correct me if I'm wrong).
