Hi,

Is there a long distance plan for USA calls for Manitoba customers? There seems to be a special sale that includes international right now but no USA add-ons seems strange... thank you for your help.

Hello,

You can get unlimited US calling for 10$ a month as a monthly add-on to your plan. You can find out more by going in the monthly add-on section on this page:

Hi Mathieu,

I would gladly pay that so I could switch my wife to koodo but it say "Restrictions: Not available in Manitoba and for calls made to some phone numbers*"

I don't think the $10 is available to Manitoba customers. Am I wrong? Thanks

Hey there! Just clarifying that this option is indeed not available in Manitoba.  You would be billed pay per use rates ($0.50/min) if you made calls to the US. You can also add our monthly long distance saver add on ($3/month) and get a reduced cost to $0.05/min  Thank you! -

Hi Melissa,

Just a question...If I am a Quebec koodo customer, travelling to Manitoba (with the $10 USA package), will my calls to the States from Manitoba be charged as being part of the $10 package, or will pay per use rates apply? (The long distance saver add on does not seem to be available in Manitoba either, so I opted for the $10 unlimited US option... )

Your plan and add-ons will follow you.

Hi David! Thank you for your answer! I wasn't sure what they meant by Manitoba exclusion... If they were talking about Manitoba Koodo customers OR Manitoba as the physical space itself lol. I've heard Koodo coverage in Manitoba is not great, so I was wondering if I'd be charged differently since roaming fees and such can be expensive. Thanks again, I appreciate the quick reply :)

Manitoba coverage is much better now that Bell purchased the network from MTS.

Melissa, just curious as to why it's not available in MB?
