That's strange. Just turned data off my phone and have no problem sending pics through wi-fi. I'm using an iphone.

Did you upgrade your phone software at all? I'm trying to find what maybe an issue. :-)

Mobile data being on has always been required with Koodo for MMS (though you're not being charged for any data used to send/receive MMS).

Even when you're connected to WiFi, you mobile data connection is used to send an MMS (you don't have to toggle WiFi off - your phone will send the data through mobile automatically, providing you have data enabled).

With iPhones, pictures sent through iMessage can be sent via WiFi. And speaking of which, iMessages sent via mobile network do count towards your data limit (only MMS usage doesn't count).
