I currently have an iPhone 4s with rogers, but want to switch to koodo when i buy the iPhone 6 outright. So my question is, if my rogers contract is up on Dec 10 with a $60 a month bill, how many more months do i have to pay before i can switch to koodo?
also if i buy the iPhone 6 unlocked from apple, which plans can i use, i was hoping to get the $50 a month with 750mb!

You can switch to Koodo any time you want after your rogers contract is up. Don't cancel your rogers account If you want to keep your number. Porting your number will cancel your rogers account and they will send you a final bill.
And if you buy the unlocked iPhone 6 from apple and bring it to Koodo, you can pick any plan you want and you can ask 10% BYOD discount.

Also, unless you are getting white or gold or any phone higher than 16GB, it's actually cheaper to get the phone with Koodo on a medium tab even after unlocking the phone ($35 at Koodo).

Also if you have a Rogers locked iphone, you may want to unlock it through Rogers before you port to Koodo. Unlocking via 3rd party online can easily be $100+ and no other carrier can unlock your iphone
