Is it possible to purchase a Note 4 outright/at retail price and go on Koodo's prepaid?

Koodo only sells phones to Postpaid account owners.

You could sign up for a monthly plan and get the Note and cancel soon after.

Then you can sign up for prepaid

It's going to be expensive as a prepaid phone.

You can use Dennis' system above, but it may be worth investigating Kijiji and other independent sellers where the unlocked Note 4 runs about $600-650 still in the box.

You have probably seen these comparisons before. Some folks think day-to-day there is not much reason to upgrade from a Note 3 to a Note 4.

If you want to put a little water in your wine, unlocked Note 3 goes for about $400 in Montreal area, probably just as cheap online. Prices certainly not heading up.
