Hi Bob,You can forward one number to another if you want but both phones would have their own number.

This of course would prevent you calling phone 1 from phone 2, as phone 1 will immediately forward to phone 2, and get a busy signal.

It gets complicated... You can use a VoIP service for your main number (A) and have 2 cell phones (Cel1) and (Cel2), all with different numbers.

You give your main number A out to your contacts. When A rings, it can simultaneously ring Cel1 and Cel2 as well. Your calls get answered by the first one that picks up the phone. Unanswered calls, however, will end up in voicemail of Cel1 or Cel2, which can be subject to unpredictable factors such as quality of local coverage. Cel1 and Cel2, however, should both post missed call notifications.

Calls between Cel1 and Cel2 will be free, because they are on the same account, but you will be forced to pay for a post-paid plan for each. The 2 plans can be different.
