Is anyone having streaming issues with the Tune-In Radio App?

Is anyone having streaming issues with the Tune-In Radio App and a newer Android phone? It works fine on WIFI. Does not stream using Koodo Data. ALL my saved stations, not just one. Message says, "A stream connection error occurred." Turn on WIFI. Works normally. The Tune-In App is configured to allow provider data. It used to work a couple of months ago and I did not change anything. Thanks for any feedback.

If no wifi is available it does use data.

Hi Don. Tune-In fails when not on WIFI. Other Apps work fine using Koodo data. The messages I get in Tune-In say either, " There are no entries in this playlist" OR "A stream connection error occurred." I downloaded a couple other Radio Apps, which I do not like as much as Tune-In PRO, and everything works fine using Koodo data. I also uninstalled and re-installed Tune-in. No change.

Using the same app on another phone does it do the same thing? With the same Koodo card inside?

Yes it does. I tried it with 3 different phones and it does the same on them.

TuneIn getting bloated and buggy lately. I gave it up last month after years of use. I now use Simple Radio by Streema - works like a charm.

No i dont believe its the phone. How is that it works with every other sim card. I tried it with bell and chatr(rogers) and they both work fine. Its only with koodo it does not work. I also tried the same sim cards bell chatr and koodo on my wifes phone and it does not work. I just put my koodo on my friends phone 5 mins ago and it does not work for him either. And he has been using tunein on bell for few years now works perfectly. So i have tried this setup on multiple phones and multiple sim cards. So it definately cannot be the phone. And all these 3 phones are different makes ... OnePlus5, motog4 and S8 ..

Eh, just double check, do you have any data in your plan? What plan do you have?

As I mentioned earlier, you could pass by a Koodo kiosk and ask them to look into the SIM and phone. You could send message to their facebook also.

I tried everything .. i was with them for hours on the phone with their technical support team. And in the wend they admitted that Koodo does not allow streaming services from certain apps. I wasted almost 2 days trying to solve this and none of them told me this. I feel cheated. THis company is a fraud. And everyone needs to know this so they dont get cheated.  I am porting my number out. I already got a virgin account and everything works fine on Virgin. Porting it out now.

Well, good luck with Virgin then. I still don't think they bkocked anything. tune-in radio still works fine on my iphone. I am listening to it as of now.

I know it works on iphone. It just does not work on android phone. And i have tried it on 3 different android phones. And even the cuatomer support said koodo does not allow certain apps to stream.
