I was two days ago in your store. iPhones 5s not there and no one knows when there will be. Why did you write on your website that are be available? I am sorry for my english.

Because there is no way of knowing if a store has inventory or not unless you call ahead.

All inventories are computerized. Every major business can give you up to date inventory information if they choose to do so.

Most companies do not because they want to make a sale today, if you show up today, they hope you will walk out with something else instead of going to a different provider.

I think that they just put it as "available" on the website because obviously some stores will have it available and some won't so the website that is in charge of summarizing the province can't really make sure that it indicates for every single store. That is the customer's job.

You should always call in and check if they have a certain phone available in stock.

The main reason it says "Only available in store" isn't to say the web store is sold out and they have stock in store, but to let you know that you can't buy it online and can only buy it in a store.
