Hi there...

If the phone is locked to Bell, then you have 2 options; Get Bell to unlock the iPhone for you (if you do not have an account with them, most likely they wont unlock it) or You could unlock it using a website like gsmliberty.net

Koodo won't be able to unlock it fro you since is not a Koodo handset... Also make sure that this iPhone your buying is not reported as lost or stolen, sometimes things bought from the internet or people you do not know could be useless... So try it out in advance if you can...

This is where you can check if the device has been reported lost or stolen:

iPhones are notoriously expensive to unlock. Around $100.

You would be better off getting the person who is selling it (if they are still a Bell customer) or a friend who is a Bell customer to unlock the phone for $50 (provided they meet Bell's unlocking guidelines.
